Hello!  My name is Stephanie Collier and I am the school counselor for Mantachie Elementary School.  I am very proud to be a part of such a fantastic school and school district.  I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my master's degree in Counselor Education/Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University.

Kindergarten Registration

April 5, 7, 8 & 9 Mantachie Elementary School until 4:00 p.m.
April 6 @ Head Start from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Please bring your child with you to register.  A screening will be preformed on your child at that time.

Requirements for Enrollment

To enroll a child in school, parents must present school officials with the following:
  • Completed Immunization Form
    (Immunization Forms must be checked, "Complete for School")
  • Social Security Card - No copies
  • Certified Birth Certificate - No copies
     
  • 2 Proofs of Residency (one from each category)
  1. Mortgage, rental lease, or Homestead Exemption
  2. Current electricity, gas, telephone, or cable bill

(Drivers License and Voter Registration are NOT acceptable)
  • Legal Guardians must provide copy of court order
  • 2 Emergency Contacts other than parent or guardian.

*Only children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 will be eligible for enrollment.
